Eureka! Burning Blu-ray Discs Without Fatal Errors With PRE7

Postby George Tyndall » Sat May 14, 2011 5:08 pm

When burning an Autoplay movie (no menus), follow the same procedure as when burning a Blu-ray disc with menus, specifically:

1. Instead of burning the disc directly from the PRE7 HD timeline, first share the timeline as Share> Personal Computer> MPEG>MPEG2 1920x1080i 30.

2. Open that file from your HDD with PRE7, and choose Share>Disc>Blu-ray>MPEG2 1920x1080i 30 preset.

3. To avoid a "fatal error" during the burn, do NOT change the title--the time code--that PRE7 wants to give to the disc.

4. If you may desire to create additional copies of the disc in the future, use ImgBurn to create, while it is still in the Blu-ray disc-writing drive, an image of the disc to your HDD.

5. When ready to make additonal copies of the disc, use ImgBurn to burn the image to discs.
