Talk with some experts about this compelling motion graphics and visual effects software.

Hi Paz,
Yes, that's one of the things After Effects could be used for. After Effects is especially designed to facilitate creation of motion graphics, special effects, animation, and composites. Premiere and After Effects complement each other. Premiere has the features and capabilities to facilitate cutting together and editing an entire movie but has rudimentary animation and compositing ability. After Effects, on the other hand, is just the opposite.
The video in the first post is a WMV file (Windows Media Video). I should have probably used a more universal video format.

That is a very good description of AE, Bob. I have read more than once that AE is like PS on steroids.

Thanks for the explanation Bob. I would have thought that's what Flash would be used for - but I've never had Flash. So many Adobe programs... so little [s]time[/s] money!

Flash and After Effects were created for quite different purposes. After Effects is concerned with producing video and has very sophisticated capabilities for that. Flash is a multimedia and software platform used to author content which can be viewed, played or executed in the Adobe Flash Player. Flash is typically used to add streaming video or audio, games, and interactive multimedia content and applications to web pages.

I see. A similar sort of product in terms of appearance, but with very different uses.
Thanks, Bob.
