PRE8 and PE8 loaded and testing

Specific to Premiere Elements Version 8.

Motion tracking seems to get confused sometimes... once you apply it and try and change things it sometimes gets stuck. When this happens I have to delete the clip, replace it and try again..

I tried your suggestion Paul with no success. I created a new project with a new clip, still no luck. I then uninstalled Pre 8 and reinstalled. Same results. One thing I noticed that may be a key. When I placed the box around the object and clicked the track object the progress never finishes. I am doing it over and over. Sometimes it quits at 3-4%. The highest so far it has gone to is 24% but yet to finish. Anyone with success here, does it go all they way to 100%?

Strange, when I select a clip and then click the track motion icon a message appears and says "Auto analysis track motion?" (or something like that)... I then click no and the track motion box appears that I move around the object I want to track. Do you get this message as a first step?

You're supposed to let it analyze the motion trick. Otherwise, it can't keyframe the motion of the clip art you attach to the image.
