What Flash codec does PE8 use?

Hi folks:

In PE7 the project can be exported to Flash video 7 and 8 (400K and 700k). Does PE8 allow you to output to a higher version of Flash (9 or 10)?

I need to be able to output the best possible quality .flv files, I believe Sorenson's Squeeze 5 for Flash Pro ($300 Can), has the very latest codec for Flash 10.

There is some detailed information within this post. He is working through the software and publishing his findings as he discovers the differences between v7 and v8. I have not read it all.

The sharing presets for Flash in Premiere Elements 8 are still for FLV versions 7 and 8, Rudy.

You don't [necessarily] need the latest versions of Flash to get better quality, you need a higher bitrate. You also need a good quality video going in. Make sure that you're starting out with a good quality source video to start with.
