Smart Tags - Organizer

Postby Walter Seaton » Sat Jul 19, 2014 4:56 pm

Organizer has attached Smart Tags automatically (I did not ask for it) to all my video files in Premiere. How do I get rid of them and prevent this from happening in the future? I have no problems with my still images in Photoshop which I can tag (or not tag) as I want.

Thank you.

Smart Tags happen automatically if you've got the Auto Analyzer/Media Analyzer turned on in Organizer's Preferences (under the Edit menu). They don't do anything at all to your photos or video files. It's merely reference metadata.

You can turn off the preference and the program won't do it any more. But I don't know how to get rid of them other them recreating your entire Organizer catalog and keeping the Analyzer turned off. Much easier to just ignore them.
