Mirror Image

Postby Walter Seaton » Thu Oct 11, 2012 3:31 pm

Is it possible to make a mirror image of a clip in PRE8? I do not mean reversing the clip (i.e. reversing the In and Out Points) but what is called "flip horizontal" in Photoshop, e.g. if the original clip has a man walking from right to left, can I change that to from left to right.

If it is possible, how do I do that?

Hi Walter, you can add the "Mirror Effect" which has a few options for moving the mirrored image around.
Add the effect to the clip and go to clip properties to change the effect functions and see what they do.
I don't think this is probably what you are looking for.

There is also "Horizontal Flip" and "Vertical Flip" Effects, I think the Horizontal Flip is what you are looking for :)
