Unfair! Protest! The game was rigged!

Some of us DON''T GET EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS! Think of the hours I wasted trying to find something that wasn't there. Shame!

(Kidding, of course - congrats Cinde) :-5

Thank you Ron, for the contest.
Thank you Steve for the (autographed) Book. It will complete my collection. I already have All in One and In a Snap
Thanks everyone for your Congratulations. :GH:

There are actually a couple more things I have seen recently. One I commented about in New Look post:
I was typing a reply to a post, when I clicked to Preview I saw a message that said:
"At least one new post has been made to this topic. You may wish to review your post in light of this."

Another is the "Tips" found in the Christmas Style... when typing a post there are little tips beneath the formatting section when the mouse is hovered over them. The tip about URL is especially helpful for me since I don't have to go hunting for my "cheat sheet" to get the formatting for a text link without showing the whole link.

Also on the Christmas Style is a little icon that says "Bump" above the thread. Yep, I tried it on another topic and it was bumped to the top of the active topics, with no new posting to it. Notice is at the bottom of the post below the signature "Last bumped by Cinde on Fri Nov 21, 2008 11:07 pm." It also removes the original time of the original post and changes it to the time the "Bump" was made. I dont' see the option in the Classic Style.

I have found that I can open a topic in two windows, one in Classic Style, one in Christmas Style... that's how I discovered most of the changes.

I'm persistent... love a challenge... well maybe I'm obsessive... img0252
definitely have too much idol time on my hands.img0279

When you're replying to a post and someone "beats you to it" (posts before you've finished drafting yours), that's the message you receive... this has always been a feature, you just never noticed it before because the situation didn't arise.

Again, always been a feature, even with the default style (mouse hover will give you tooltip style) :)

Again, ditto

Congrats again!!

Steve, A quick note to let you know I received "The Muvipix.com Guide to Adobe Premiere Elements 7. Just reading the first page of the first chapter reminded me of something I already knew but had forgotten. Show Docking Headers!

When I have time to catch my breath during the hectic holiday season, I'm sure I'll have time to read it with highlighter in hand and afterward write a glowing review.

Thanks again Ron, for the contest.
