Hi Ron, I uploaded an flv yesterday for the mini-movie section. But I'm positive I was logged in at the time because I had been posting answers to question yesterday evening as well.

I don't know why this is so hard for me, but I can't seem to figure out how to submit my movies into the contest and I have only 4 hours left! I guess I was expecting a big sign or step-by-step instructions. Can some please explain the process to me?

I click on 'Gallery', click 'Upload File' and then there's a spot for me to upload videos, but there's no where to put a discription of the video and nothing to click on to make sure it gets entered into the contest. When I click 'continue' at the bottom, i get an 'Internal Server Error'. What am I missing??

Hi,
Go to the gallery and click on 'Upload File'.
Browse for your file and thumbnail and click 'Continue'
After the files have uploaded you will be asked where to put them, select the 2008 Video Contest Album.
You will, at that time, be able to put in a description, the category you are entering and any other information you need to.
Let us know if you still have problems.

I've tried that, but when I click on 'Continue' at the bottom after selecting my thumbnail and video, it doesn't do anything. The page looks like it's trying to load something, but in the end it just says 'Internal Server Error'.

When you click 'Continue' it will upload the video and thumbnail, it may take up to 10 minutes depending on the size of the video and your internet speed.
Just hang in there and wait until you see the next screen where you select the album and put in your information.

If worse comes to worse we will have Ron help you tomorrow, we can clearly see you are trying to enter by the deadline, so don't worry :)
But do give it another try before giving up for the night.

Thanks for the help! I think I got it now. I received the 'Internal Server Error' message about 4 times, but I'm pretty sure I got each video and thumbnail to work. In total there were 3 videos and 3 corresponding thumbnails. Please let me know if it messed up.

Looks like we got 3 videos and 1 thumbnail.
Ron will probably ask you to upload the other two thumbnails tomorrow, or you can do it tonight.
We did get one for your slideshow entry.

I am trying to upload yet another 11th hour submission. Right now it's slow... maybe the server is too busy with us last minute peeps.
