Are there downloadable VIDEO TRANSITIONS?

Postby Tony Wade » Thu Jul 07, 2011 2:37 am

I still have no problems with my trusty PE-V3, but I was wondering if there were any newer video transitions that may be available for download, without me having to upgrade to a newer version of PE.
I'm still happy with V3 and have had virtually no crashes ever, so I'd like to stay with it if possible...
Cheers from the sunny? south coast of England...

A number of plug-ins for Premiere Pro also work with Premiere Elements, Tony.

Many people have successfully installed these into the program.

Besides they haven't really added any new transitions to the program that I can think of, at least not in a long time.

I have a product from ProDad called Vitascene and Heroglyph, you can create transitions.

With all of the Premiere Elements versions you get the Gradient Wipe. You can create an almost unlimited number of transitions using the gradient wipe, tutorial here

I have a quick question. I'm not sure how to get these transitions into Adobe. I downloaded the zip file and then upzipped them to myharddrive. Then tried to media insert file and insert the file and it's telling me that I'm missing a component. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks.

Hi Theresa,
Just put the gradient files in a folder somewhere. Add the Gradient Wipe transition between two clips on the timeline and then you can specify which file to use for the wipe transition.

There is a tutorial that goes into more detail
