I am about to shoot my first HDV project on a Canon XH A1.
I just wanted to double check, that once I have edited on PE3 in HD, I can export as an SD DVD?
(Until I get a Blu Ray burner, which I will get soon.)

Re: HDV editing-Export to SD?Yes you can Tony. Alternatively you can downconvert in the camcorder and capture as standard DV-AVI.
Re: HDV editing-Export to SD?Thanks Paul. I was going to 'downvert', but then I figured I could rent an HDV playback unit to get the tapes in. (I am shooting in canada on my kid's camera, and just bringing back the tapes)
