Motion backgrounds

Postby ridon127 » Wed Jul 04, 2007 10:12 pm

How do I make the motion backgrounds run for a longer time? Do I make sense here ?
Thanks

.. or if it doesn't distort it too much, you can streeetch it with the 'time stretch.' I just did that with one that didn't seem to work when I put two copies of the avi back-to-back.

Thanks Jayell. I thought maybe there was a way to stretch it out for like 30 seconds but it wouldn't let me go more than just a few seconds with out adding another.

Donna, I'm not sure if you picked up on the 'time stretch' comment I made.

If you RIGHT click on the clip on the timeline .. then click on 'time stretch.' You can stretch it out considerably (by typing in a time or percentage, or simply sliding it with your mouse) .. keeping in mind that slows down the movement as you stretch the time. You may or may not like the results, but it IS available.

Actually, I probably didn't pick up on the stretch thing. I have been battling strep throat and an ear infection so it has probably hender my thinking ability--not that it need any help. I will try and see what happens. Thanks
