PE 3.02 burn to DVD

Postby sidd finch » Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:48 pm

I normally use a stand alone software to author DVD’s but for kicks I decided to try and use PE3.02 DVD function to create a disc. I could not find where I could change the burn speed of the DVD so that it only burns at 4x. Does anyone know how to set this function???

You can't change the burn speed. That is why I used Nero. Burn to a folder from PE3.

Thanks Mom that is what I thought. I use Ulead Movie Factory 6+ and I like it a lot. Nero gave me a driver conflict so I have stuck with Ulead.

I continue to put in a feature request to Adobe every year asking for many things but these two are included;
1. burn a folder to DVD
2. ability to set the burn speed

Maybe someday they will actually make that happen, but for now that is why we need DVD Architect, Encore, ImgBurn, and other tools.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

I had problems with Nero install too many other things and had conflicts...things didn't quite work correctly. The guy that works on my computer fixed it all. Same thing happened when I installed the driver for the HP burner. I don't understand how things are interconnected. Good thing I have a reliable person for service.
