Getting rid of the jaggies

Postby Shrimpfarmer » Tue Sep 22, 2009 11:02 am

Hi

Someone I know uploads videos to Youtube but they have the jagged lines you often get with interlaced material. He is using Premier Elements version 1 but I only have 7 so I cant easily look at his available output options. Is there an output setting that will generate a progressive format that he can upload to Youtube. I would use the HD720p setting from within version 7 but he does not seem to have that option.

No 720p in PE1. :( He could export as WMV... first he needs to right click on the clip in the timeline and select "Field Order"... then "Always Deinterlace". This should export a progessive WMV file.
