making dvd menu music loop

Is there a way to make the music for the main menu to play in a loop, instead of stopping for a brief moment and then starting from the beginning? :?:

Did you click "apply default transition" in the menu properties for the audio? This will apply a crossfade and may do what you want.

Yes, I tried it, thanks. It sounded better; it faded out, but stil had silence and an abrupt start.

Oh, well. Most people would choose an option before it timed out, anyway.
