DVD Menu Adding music to Menu's - DurationI have added audio 9a song) to play on the menus for my DVD, but I can't get the duration to take when I type it in. it is staying at 00:00:24:00 so it loops instead of just keeps playing.
The audio on the DVD Menu is limited to 29 seconds so you can increase it to that, then it will loop. This is a DVD industry standard and Adobe has said they will not change it. Most DVD authoring programs only allow 30 seconds of audio on a DVD menu.
For one thing the longer the music on the menu the less space you have on the DVD for video. Music can take up valuable megabytes that could be used for better quality or longer video, in most cases no one is going to leave the menu running for much more than 30 seconds anyway, the object is to watch the movie
well that is good to know.
AND --- I am soo glad you are on-line!! I just applied the dvd main menu template to all menus and It is already saved. Is there a way to revert back to the template for the 2nd and 3rd menus... CRUD..I was almost done and ready to hit record before going to bed.
Re-apply the menu, just drag the same menu over again. That should change it back to the defaults. You may have to re-select your music again though. The only thing you applied to all menus were the audio/music settings from the main menu, you can go into the scene menus and change them if you want manually.
yep --- you are correct...I am impressed. It seems simple to meet but others don't.
it was for two of us..one was a big waner brothers fan and Bugs Bunny...and I am a huge Disney Fan. She was a huge Disney fan too, and now she is totally converted!!! I have just used it for so long I haven't changed it! thanks again for all your help. by the way I got the DL + R's and they were on say 25 of them for 30.00. Now I just hope the place we are going to can play it! If I have time I make another with it split.
Very good idea, always bring copies too
