thank you for your most interesting samples of animation text.

i want to know if one can select and animate only a part of the text in the titler. i have several lines and want to only animate a few of the words.

i have read also where i can add an image to the titler also. can i animate the image?
thanks

You may have to create a second title to animate text seperatly and
then line up the text of the two titles. Pretty sure you can animate a logo as well.
Have not done it though.

thanks for your reply. i don't think that will work.
i am creating a video with a lot of the 60's craze dances. i have a few lines of text for most of the dances describing them and such.
i wanted to animate a word or two in the whole lot. to add another text line would not look right.

oh well, i can try with the image and see how that works.

I'm certain it would work and just to be clear I'm suggesting to add asecond title
(Not line) for the title that you want to animate. The second title would go on the track
Directly above the title with still text. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you want to do.

Hope you get it working and welcome to muvipix!

maybe i misunderstood you. what i have is 5 lines in one text box that describes on how to do the twist.
you know how they say, put a towel around your bottom and pretend you are drying yourself with a towel.
the few words in a line says "pull each end of towel and twist" which is what i wanted to animate.

i read the instructions on how to animate by the fellow who started this topic...and if i understand it correctly, only the first line of each text box will animate.

so if i were to set up the text so that the 'pull each end of towel and twist' was in the first line in a second text box...that should animate my selections? even if there was text following, that text would not animate.

i think i will have to play with this a bit more. thanks for the help. gives me some ideas.
