Hey all -
Question: Going to be digitizing some tapes and would love to be able to mark scenes or log while digitizing. Is there any way to do that?
Best,
Bill

Log or note while digitzing?Hey all -

Re: Log or note while digitzing? You can start and stop the capture and make notes on paper, not sure what you are looking for Bill.

Re: Log or note while digitzing? The Organizer can also help you catalog, order, store and recall your clips once you've captured them. In fact, that's what it's for!
But if you can tell us more about what you're trying to do, maybe we can offer you a simple solution. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: Log or note while digitzing? There are additional columns that can be exposed in the media bin for logging information. You can even add your own columns. There's a bug regarding columns that don't persist from one session to the next. I'll see if I can find the thread on that.
But while you are capturing, you can have the media bin open and log information. Docking headers need to be showing. Then you click on the chevron >> in the upper right corner of the task panel (hard to see those >>). Select "Edit Columns" and then check off the columns you want to expose.
Re: Log or note while digitzing?Okay, I just remembered. If you open up your project and the columns you checked off or added aren't showing in the media bin, you must close the project WITHOUT SAVING, then open the project again.
If you save your project without first closing and opening it again, all your work with the columns and data you entered will be lost.
