Can I set a customised # of scenes per menu?

Postby donnabell » Thu Dec 13, 2007 9:52 pm

It automatically sets it at 6 and I only want 3 on each menu. Can I customize this?

Thanks,
Donna

You can customize the DVD Templates with Photoshop Elements. How many scenes do you have total?
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

I have 8 scenes total. It automatically puts six on the first scene selection menu. I want three scene selections with 3 scenes, 3 scenes, and 2 scenes.

You can modify the template in Photoshop Elements, removing the unwanted scene buttons. You can also find a template that will work for you with only 3 scene buttons. What template are you wanting to use?
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

But you have to have a DVD Menu Template to start with, which template are you using?
Just choose one with only 3 scene buttons.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

I didn't choose a template. I just added a scene marker and then I guess it, by default, chose the green night vision one. Should I go and choose one with three and then change it? I attached the picture I want. I want to use ones where potential sponsors will see their product being worn.

Yup, just find a DVD Menu Template with 3 scene buttons and use that one ;)
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Also, under the Movie Genre category, the Action template has only 3 scene buttons.
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

A great, and inexpensive, resource (other than this forum and our annual subscription to the materials/products) is this book;
Premiere Elements 2 In A Snap

The program has not changed much between versions 2 and 4, the book will explain many things that spans all versions.
Although some of the ways to get to items may have changed, the principles are all the same and everything is still done basically the same way.
If you want to learn about Titles, Keyframing, DVD Menus or many other techniques and tricks, the book will show you how step by step.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
