Steadymove Plug-in Almost Obsolete

Postby RJ Johnston » Sat Oct 20, 2007 8:12 pm

I tested the SteadyMove stablizer plug-in that I had been using in previous versions of Premiere Elements, but it is very slow to render, so I'm not even going to bother testing it any further. The New Blue Stablizer plug-in that comes with Premiere Elements 4.0 does a very good job. If you need perfect steady results that could be used by the military in real time, then you might want to test the Mercalli demo from ProDad. http://www.prodad.de. You may need to specify the field order of your source footage, independent of what PE thinks is the order. Once Mercalli analyzes your clip, you don't need to render a preview even though there is a red line.
