Computer Crashed - Need Help with Question

Postby slushparlor1 » Thu Jun 07, 2012 2:56 pm

Hello everyone,

I've been working on the school videos that are going to be run next week and the computer totally crashed. After lots of troubleshooting I had to go out and get a new computer today. I have all my information backed up, but as far as these videos go I think I'm in trouble.

I had saved all my files to c:/users/theresa/pictures.
I took my new computer and added all my files from my old computer right back into c:/users/theresa/pictures.

I don't see anything when I login to Adobe. I thought if the path was the same I could see them. I'm in a panic here. Is there any solution? My old computer was not a Gateway, but I thought if I put the files in the same place I would be all set.

Does it matter where Adobe was installed? If it was installed on my D drive before and now it's C would that make the difference?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

yea, back in business. I made the mistake of copying the whole file so it was reading as c:/users/theresa/pictures/pictures.

I am now the happy girl.
