Help Please Ron - Board Cookies on iPad

Postby Bobby » Wed Jan 12, 2011 6:10 pm

If you remember my configuration, I am using an iPad with the Atomic browser that allows you to spoof the browser ID - I have it set to Firefox.

Doing that, I can see the normal board in all its glory. But I am noticing one problem.

When I click on the View Next Unread button (and I check a number of times), I always get the top of the topic - not the next unread. I verified that I am logged in.

If the "board cookies" are in fact on the server, what is the problem here? Obviously it is something unique to my configuration (of course it works fine on my regular PC) but not sure where to start looking for a solution.

Any ideas Ron?

Hm, I can't duplicate the issue, although I'm not using an iPad; simply using the style the iPad uses.

Are you talking about the tiny orange button that looks like this Image

...or something else?

Yes, that one. I am going to do some side-by-side tests with my PC and the iPad and see if I can chart out the differences.+

Well, Ron, I am not sure what was happening, but it seems to be working OK now. Atomic did update their software so perhaps that had something to do with it.

Thanks...
