Hi Donna,
Good to hear from you, I hope all is going well at home.

Paul did this with Photoshop Elements and a free tool

You could probably create this with a transparent section inside where the photo is and use that in Premiere Elements and insert a video.

Watching the Creative Cow After Effects tutorial on the Snow Globe effect might give you some ideas too.

Here is another thread about the Snow Globe

Hey Chuck,

So far things seem to have settled down. Chemo is going good and that makes life so much better. Richard is recooping from bowel obstruction surgery and should be able to return to work in the next couple of weeks. The drs weren't able to remover the tumors on his livere because they were too close to 3 major blood supplies and they didn't feel he was in good enough shape to try to regenrate the liver. so it is chemo for the rest of his life or until he decides he has had enough.. but he is doing really good and it doesn't have many side effects..

The free tool is only a trial for 30 days.. and i don't have AE.. i was hoping there was a way with pre.. i will figure out something.. thanks for your help..

Donna, I remember that RocDoc did something like this a few years ago. Found this in the gallery:

Just guessing, you could make a static image of the snow globe with a transparent cut out. Or you create a snow globe & snow video w/transparent area and export. Then use that on a track above your video. Use the garbage matte to mask off the snow on the first part so it will appear in the globe image.
