Preset Folder

Postby Bubby Grub » Mon Oct 24, 2011 9:38 pm

Hi Guys,

I am sure there is an easy answer, but right now I am having a block-out. Can I, and how do I make a new Presets Folder, meaning I have
some presets that I want to install but not in "My Presets" Folder, I want to make a new folder for them. I have right clicked, get the wording
New Presets Folder, but nothing, where am I going wrong.
Thanks in Advance

Greetings.

I think this is what you want:

Right-click in the My Presets folder, then select "New Presets Folder."

You then pick the new folder from the "Preset Effects Folder" drop-down list.

Right-click and import presets that you previously exported.

Remember to right-click.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply, yes I had done exactly what you said, but they are going into
"My Presets" Folder, can I, or can I not rename a folder say "Presets 2 or something like that, and have them imported into that.
Thanks again for any help much appreciated.
Cheers

Bubby, I'm stumped. And now I have all these folders that I created and I can't figure out how to delete them except maybe by deleting related files in the preferences folder.

Maybe someone else will know the answer. In the meantime I will continue working on it.

Cheers.

Hi
Thanks for trying, I keep clicking on New Presets Folder, but can't seem to find where it goes, so consequently I end up with the presets going
into "My Presets" and not another folder. About the only thing I managed to achieve was to crash the machine. I am definitely having a mental block
today.
Anyway thanks for trying

Hi
Just found the folders, I must be going mad, but now I have so many folders and can't figure out how to delete them,
will keep trying. One of my dumb days I think.
Thanks again
