Opening Title Sequence - Technical & Aesthetic Ideas?

I just posted this request for comments to the Adobe PrPro forum, http://forums.adobe.com/thread/488127?tstart=0, and wanted to get thoughts and ideas from the Muvipix community, as well.

I'm posting this here, though it is not really a PrPro question. Still, that will be my NLE of choice, though other programs will definitely come into play.

There is a tut at Lynda that uses the Caustics Effect with Wave World in AE. The tut has chocolate melting an flowing over an embossed logo. Think it is listed under Effects and may be located under CS3 tut listings. My free subscription ran out, so can't find it directly.
