New Gear

Postby Cope This 719 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 3:36 am

G'day purveyors of truth & knowledge,

I have 2 problems.
(1) When I download my AVCHD camera files into Premiere Pro cs 5.5, is it possible to select more that one file at a time? This is rather troublesome not being able to grab 20 or 30 files rather than one by one.

(2) While downloading my computer froze. Upon further investigation I was notified that there was an error for a particular file. Windows 7 (64 bit) offered to fix this.

Now if there is an error on the Flash Drive of my Canon HFS 21 will this stay on this hard drive forever or can I take steps such as Formatting to restore the full capacity and not seal off the bad sector never to be used again

Regards,
Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4GH, Corsair SSD 120 GB Drive x 2, Corsair Vengeance 16GB Ram, Asrock Z68 Extreme 4, Internal Memory 2 TB x 2
Zotac GeForce GTX 570, LG Blue Ray Read / Write, External 1TB Drive x2.

Just a guess on my part as I am still a MiniDV tape user - hold down the CNTRL key and make multiple selections(?).

Or click on the icon of the first, scroll down to the last, press on shift while clicking on the last and drag the whole lot over, yes?
24" iMac. 17" MBP. FCPX and a little bit of Premiere Pro. Nine recent Panasonic HD camcorders. Many (but never enough) terabytes of external storage...
