My Operating Principle: Never upgrade any software if PRE7/PSE7 and related software (including Media Center) are working well Dilemma: IE6 repeatedly drops my posts on muvipix. Ron informs me that he is certain IE6 is the problem Action: After creating a Restore Point and prior to prior to installing IE7, I downloaded and installed all XP Critical Updates Result: MCE2005 will no longer play my media in full-screen view Action: Use System Restore to return machine to previous state Result: MCE2005 back to normal but still having problem posting on muvipix with IE6 Action: Download and install IE7 only Result: Now able to post on muvipix AND MCE2005 still normal

I've halted all XP critical updates. I haven't had any updates in over a month. One of the updates causes some of the Control Panel applets to fail to open.
I tried to do a System Restore, but I got a message that it couldn't restore. Fortunately I had a backup image of my drive.

Luckily, I was able to download and install Search 4.0 for Windows XP as I find this particular little gem to be VERY useful.

Any one here have any experiences with 'Rollback RX'? I installed it about a month ago and it seems to do a terrific job the couple of times I have used it. I always take a 'snapshot' of my system before any driver changes, updates etc. Takes only a few seconds. Even recovers deleted files and will 'roll back' to a prior state with a total windows failure ( thou I haven't used it for that ). I don't have a lot of experience with it, therfore if anyone does and has an opinion....Thanks

Many of us use Acronis True Image, which also works well. Do you have a URL for yours?
