Postby hpharley90 » Thu Nov 23, 2023 9:08 am

I need to copy some music cd's.
Humble Pie
What is a good cd burning software.
Peru mentioned Image burn but I lost a couple of cd-r and I don't know how to use it.
i need something simple that works with windows 10.
I used to use Nero in the XP days but i do not know what package I need on their website.

I tried using windows media player but it crashes
Thanks
Richard

What file type is the music?
What will you be playing the CDs on?

You can also use iTunes to burn audio CD's too and it is Free.

In iTunes you import the tracks then create a playlist and burn to a CD.

In Imgburn, create an image file to burn to the blank disc:
1) Choose Create image file from disc
2) Place original CD disc in the drive.
3) Choose a hard drive location for the destination.
4) Click the arrow at the bottom after the disc is recognized.

When done, to burn to a blank disc disc:
1) Choose Write image file to disc. You can get back to that menu choice by Mode > Ez-Mode Picker
2) Select the source (the image file you created).
3) Place a blank CD in the drive.
4) Click the arrow at the bottom after the disc is recognized.

You can rename the image file to the name of the CD and save it to burn replacement copies of the CD.
You can also make a bunch of image files and then burn them to disc later.
