Replacement for Epson "Print CD"

Postby n9jcr » Sun Oct 23, 2016 1:03 pm

I've been using Epson printers and the Print CD software for almost 10 years. We routinely get orders for DVDs we have created during this time so it's handy to be able to simply print another one.

The problem is my Epson R280 appears to finally be dying and the reviews on the current Epsons aren't very encouraging, particularly that they waste a lot of ink and/or you can only purchase from Epson direct.

So, two questions: Has anyone successfully used Print CD with a non-Epson printer (which one), or does anyone want to dispute the reviews on current Epson printers?

Thanks!

Bob

I too was an Epson fan for a long time but switched to the Canon MG series printers for DVD/CD printing. I also use Sure Thing DVD Printing software and many others here use Acoustica I believe.

Yup. Acoustica with Canon printers - I have the IP7250 and the Pro 9000 Mkll.

EDIT: Printing directly to Verbatim full face printable optical media. I also have Verbatim Lightscribe media but I prefer printable DVDs.

I use Acoustica with an old HP printer.
