Would you change the processor in this system?

Postby George Tyndall » Sun Apr 07, 2013 11:31 am

Question:

Is there a compelling reason to pay an extra $100 for the optional i7-3770K(3.5GHz) instead of the included i7-3770 (3.4GHz)

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

The processer with the "K" is unlocked. That's only useful if you plan on overclocking your system. If you don't intend to do that, you don't need the "K" model. The two processors are essentially identical otherwise.
