Maybe some of you have heard this before but I just heard it for the first time tonight and love it.
This will be included in the next wedding video I do for sure :)

Thanks Chuck, a very nice song. One way to discover songs is to do a video search of wedding highlights on Vimeo. Here are a few that I heard in the last year:

I Do — Colbie Caillat
Fallin For You — Colbie Caillat
Lucky — Colbie Caillat & Jason Mraz
Marry Me — Train (Good for the rehearsal)
Stolen — Dashboard Confessional
Sweet Disposition — Temper Trap
Something Beautiful — Newsboys
From This Moment On — Shania Twain
Collide — Howie Day
1234 — Plain White Ts
Lifesize — Fine Frenzy
Just The Way You Are — Bruno Mars

Well....I'm not religious by any stretch but I learned this one (The Wedding Song) probably 30 years ago because the melody and vocal performance
by Paul Stookey.
Lyrics are provided on this page also: http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/l ... _song.html

Hope that helps a bit....

I really try to keep my wedding videos much more upbeat than that John :)
I think that the slowest song I've ever used is Everything by Michael Buble'.
Someday there maybe a need for slower stuff and I keep the slow songs on hand just in case.

A few more to add:

What Can I Do - Joy Williams (love this one!)
Maybe I'm Amazed - Jem
Forever & Ever Amen - Randy Travis (like the Music video too)
Marry You - Bruno Mars
Never Had Nobody Like You - M. Ward (fun for credits)
Good Life - One Republic
Honey Bee - Blake Shelton
Me and You - Diana Vickers
Amazed - Lonestar

When I hear a song I like, I add it to a running list and purchase 8 or so at a time from iTunes for personal listening playlists.

Hmmm! I don't use the full track as it is far too long but I have used it in several wedding videos.

When I have the final version of the video completed I let the bride and groom review the DVD for any last changes, emphasising that "if there is anything that you want to change now is the last chance". I incorporate any adjustments then I produce the finished BD/DVD. :sold:

So far, whenever I have used it on wedding videos, I have always received positive comments on it as a choice and no-one has yet asked for it to be replaced. :-D

Could just be a culture difference, Chuck. What works over here doesn't necessarily work elsewhere. :???:

We even drive on the correct side of the road, unlike most of the rest of the world!
