Music for Motorbike Trip Video

Postby Helen » Sun Apr 13, 2008 2:25 am

Hi
I am putting together a video for my husband and his friends about at motorbike trip they have just completed. It was mainly done on dirt roads and in out of the way places. They camped in the bush most nights and only came into town to refuel.

I am after some music to go with the video. I have so far thought of only a couple of songs which are:
On the road again by Willie Nelson
Ride Like the Wind by Christopher Cross

I am not to sure about Ride Like the Wind, but cannot think of anything else at the moment. Does anyone else have any other ideas for music.
Thanks
Helen

How about Sting's cover of "Little Wing" for some of the slower parts of the video. Of course the obvious songs for me would be "Born to be Wild" and Springteen's "Born to Run"

I found this page that had several suggestions. There maybe something you could use from there.

Go out and make it a great day. The choice is yours!

Motorcycle Mama by Sailcat might be fun :)

Seriously; anything by ZZTop is good, and here are some great suggestions

Thanks everyone,
I will check out the songs in the next day or two, and Ed "Born to be Wild" was one song whose title I could not think of yesterday, but one that I will definitely use.
Chuck I liked the beat of Motorcycle Mama and I might add a bit of voice over to my video and change "Harley" to "Suzuki".
On the "Bluepoof" blog page a song by one of my favourite artists Meatloaf "Bat Out of Hell".
So many choices.
Now to the editing and putting it all together. My husband, mounted a video camera on his handle bars so there should be some good footage, plus some that is a bit shakey and needs a bit of trimming.
Thanks again
Helen
