Classical music 100% free to use

I came across this site by Skidmore College that offers 100% royalty free music to use. It's the mission staement of the site, and as a plus it's excellent and high quality files. Enjoy! http://www.musopen.com/

You can also donate so they can add more music.

Free, unlicensed music is always a great find, Ed. Thanks!

For film makers there is this:

http://www.mobygratis.com

From the musician Moby. He states: The web site very simply gives away free music to indie filmmakers, nonprofit filmmakers and experimental filmmakers. Right now I've got about 70 pieces of music up, and any filmmaker can go there and download the music and use it in their film.

Sidd, I would like to split this topic and make yours a separate thread only because the licensing issues are different. If you would, give me an appropriate title for the post (don't want to assume and steal your thunder).

Both great finds, but I think that musopen.com should definitely be a stickie as it has no limitations on use (commercial/profit, personal, etc.).

Thanks!

-Ron
