Audio Question

Postby colbykenyon » Fri Feb 18, 2011 5:46 pm

Hello. I own a Panasonic TM700 and have a question about the audio. I'm using a lavaliere microhpone when recording, and, for some reason, whenever I listen my vidoes w/ headphones, the audio only comes through one ear (side). I bought a mono to stereo converter from Radio Shack, but, when I use that, there is absolutely no audio at all. Also, I am unable to change the microphone settings (except for volume) whenever an external mic is plugged in. When you plug in an external mic, the microphone setting automatically defaults to 'Surround', and there is no way to change it. Do you know why the audio is only coming through one side / how this can be fixed?

Thanks in advance for any help. I really appreciate it.
