Anyone Familiar with the Canon ZR960?

Postby Tomsde » Wed Oct 07, 2009 9:49 am

Being tired of fighting with video codecs I'm considering buying a Canon ZR960 as a 2nd camcorder. Does anyone have this unit? What do you think of it. I saw some lovely hd footage from it on YouTube.

It's a very nice cam, Tom. And it should interface great with Premiere Elements.

I have two older ZR500, good little SD camera with mic jack. Work very well with PRE. I still like having miniDV tape. I think Chuck has a ZR950, the predecessor to the 960. I'd look for him to post as well.

I love the ZR950, it is a great standard definition MiniDV camcorder.
I've gotten excellent quality and it is easy to use, love it :)
