Aiptek HD 720

O.K. In my search for camcorders, I ran across this one that has just come out., It is priced less than $300. Has anyone seen this one. Just curious. I am a little concerned that you can get a quality High Def camcorder for that price. It is the Aiptek Go HD 720.

A HDV camcorder under $300 sounds pretty tempting, Donna, but a Google search brings up several hits with people having problems editing the video.

But you really can't judge a product based solely on the negative comments posted on some forums. Its' HDV after all, which can be challenging to edit anyway. (In any event, the files it produces are MOV Quicktime -- a challenge to edit for many Adobe/PC users.)

And the reviews are pretty good.

I wasn't going to purchase one. It just came up when I googled HD camcorders. I had never heard of it so I was curious.
