Editing AudioI need to cut a song in half, which I've done in Premiere Elements 7, but now can't save it in a format to play back on a CD? (It's a demo song for my daughter, but we don't like the first half of the medley.) I've tried everything. Help. Robin
Re: Editing AudioI don't have version 7, but if you EXPORT>Audio and under the SETTINGS button, choose Windows Waveform - that will create a *.WAV file. From there you can burn it to a CD.
Re: Editing AudioHi Robin and welcome to Muvipix.
For editing sound tracks what Scrugney described will do the trick. You might want to also have a look at and download Audacity (free) for handling audio. I use it for recording narrations and general sound editing. A lot of us here use it and it is a very useful tool to have in the box. Re: Editing AudioThanks. With your help, I did get it exported from Premiere, but it was not compatible to bring into iTunes or Windows Media. I'll try Audacity next. Do either of you know what I should be saving it as to import into iTunes?
Thanks again. Robin
Re: Editing AudioIf you use Audacity, the program John recommended, you convert it the audio to an MP3, which both Windows Media Player and iTunes will play and add to your libraries.
Both of these programs will also burn the music to a playable CD. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
