5oth Anniv. idea

Postby momoffduty » Mon Jun 13, 2011 3:56 pm

A local videographer friend told me about a project he did for a couple's 50th Anniv and I thought it was a great idea to share.

Per his email:

Last year I did a couple 50 year anniversaries where I started the video with me interviewing the couple…how they met, first date, etc. Then I go to some pictures of them during that point in time, then back to the couple talking about the proposal and wedding. I use picture to show this and then move to a family tree with all their children on the tree. I slowly zoom in the first born child, give the birth date, name, and then show a few pictures of the child from a baby through marriage and the birth of their kids. I do this with all the children and end the video with the couple
I go on to show some of the things the couple done throughout the years and conclude with the couple reflecting over the years and their plans for the future. This becomes a very valuable family heirloom, especially when the couple is no longer alive.

A beautiful way to structure the presentation, Cheryl! Thanks for sharing it.

Steve, for me the hardest part of the project is figuring out how I want to structure the presentation. His idea was creative and sounds like a good flow.
