Widescreen and Export Frame

Postby Chuck Engels » Tue Dec 25, 2007 11:52 am

I have been exporting frames from Widescreen projects and then having to stretch the image in Photoshop because it comes out squished.
I have seen settings for exporting the correct image using square pixels in a Standard project, is there a way to export a frame from a Widescreen project and not have to stretch the image in Photoshop?

I use the frame exports for the DVD Cover and the DVD face as well as the menus. It is very time consuming to export 10 - 20 images and have to stretch them all in Photoshop before I can use them. It would be great if they would come out of Premiere Elements the correct size, if that is possible.

If you want to export the frame to use in something other than PE then you need to adjust it in settings. So File>Export>Frame, then in Settings go to Video and set the frame size for 864x480 (for NTSC) and set the Pixel Aspect Ratio for Square Pixels (1.0).
