I can copy dvds by connecting a DVD player to my DVD player/recorder, recording the DVD onto the recorder hard drive then dubbing it to a DVD.
How can I do this when the source DVD is copy protected?
With thanks

Re: DVD code protectorWell, there is software out there for breaking this protection but -- well, the reason discs are protected are to guard against this very thing! Duplicating commercial videos for any kind of distribution is bootlegging.

Re: DVD code protectorMy first question is why do you want to do this? Like Steve says, duplicating commercial DVDs is illegal.
