Heretofore, I thought this capability was exclusive to PS, however, the following 4 effects can be customized in PSE9: Drop Shadow; Glow; Bevel and Stroke.
One cannot, however, save the customized style for subsequent reuse as one can with PS CS5.

Re: PSE9 Does Offer (a Few) Customizable Effects!As I say in books, George, once you apply one of those effects, you can click on the little "FX" button on the effected layer on the Layers palette and it opens up the Effects control panel for that layer.
But you're right. You can't then save your customized effect as a preset. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
