How do I get a deleted effect back?

Using PSE7
I was playing with Effects->Layer Styles->Drop Shadows. I was using the Soft Edge drop shadow. I decided I didn't want it, so dragged it to the trash can. Then realized I just deleted it from the effects panel .. NOT from the photo. How do I get it back!!!

I have another networked machine running PSE7 if it's just a matter of finding that effect and dragging it over (if I knew where to find it). I'd be moving it from an XP machine to a Win7-64 machine.

edit: it still shows in the metadata file, but not in the program itself
edit: OK, I found the location of the drop shadows.asl file on both machines. Can I just drag that over from the other machine?

Try going to the Effects panel with the layer styles and click on the "more menu" button (looks like a double headed arrow on the upper right of the effects panel). I think there is a menu option to reset styles. It's been a long time since I've had PSE installed so I'm not 100% sure. If it's there, it will reload the default styles.

Found that menu, Bob, but there's no options like that .. and so far haven't found anything in the help files to reset the styles.

I deleted the mediadabase file. Then re-loaded PRE7. That did it!! (I remembered having to do that once before, and found my notes).
