plug-in

Postby momoffduty » Tue Mar 13, 2007 3:21 pm

I am using Nikon Coolscan V ED to convert old slides and using Photoshop Elements 5 as the host application. A warning pops up about 'TWAIN' source or acquire a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop. I went to Adobe plug-ins and there are many options. Any suggestions on which would work for my project?

The pic image that was saved looks like a small rectangle line.

I know that there are specific TWAIN drivers for scanners, my Canon was recognized by Photoshop Elements right away. What kind of choices are there for your specific scanner?

The software available here might also be of help.

The Nikon manual states that it is compatible with Photoshop as the host, but may need plugin.

I will check that link out, thanks. My best option at that point may be to contact Adobe directly.
