How to find file name in Organizer

Postby Gerry » Wed Jan 02, 2008 8:29 pm

I've got 40+ CDs and DVDs of digital photos all catalogued in the Organizer, which was imported from Photoshop Elements 4. None of the photos are online, only the thumbnails.

But I can't seem to find the "switch" that lets me see the file names. I've got "DETAILS" checked, and I can see the date of the photo, but when I find one I like, how do I know which of the photos on the CD it is?

Seems to me the Organizer in PSE4 let me see file names.

[EDIT 2 MINUTES LATER] Cripes... would the "VIEW FILE NAMES" in the "VIEW" drop-down work for you? DUH. Sorry...
Dell XPS 8500 desktop w/ Intel i7-3770 CPU @ 3.4ghz / 22 gigs RAM / Radeon HD7570 1g dedicated video memory/ PrEl 11 & 9 / Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 / After Effects CS4 / Olympus OM-D E-M5 DSLR (1080i HD video)

Time is money, life is change.

In the Organizer workspace, go to Edit > Preferences > General and check the box "show file name in details"

that is probably the "piece of the puzzle" that you are missing.
