Magic Extractor

Postby Niki Burony » Tue Dec 25, 2007 6:46 pm

Merry Christmas! I've had all the family fun I can take, and now back to work on my projects. I have a question about learning to use Magic Extractor. I would like to superimpose a person from a picture onto another picture. I am still learning some of the PE6 features, but when I first purchased the program I recall seeing a tutorial somewhere showing me how to do this.

I've gotten as far as extracting the person in the first photo, and I have the second photo open as well - but how do I drag my selection onto the other photo? I can move it around the box of the original photo, but can't figure out how to drag it to the 2nd photo.

Help?

Thanks
Niki

If you've got both photos open at the same time (make sure you aren't maximizing the photos on the workspace and arrange them so that you can see both photos at the same time) you simply drag the selection from one to the other.

(BTW, you did switch to your Move tool (the triangle shaped tool at the top of the tool bar) before you tried to drag the selection, right?)
