Youtube Channel Art sizing

Postby MadMatt » Fri Mar 25, 2016 11:17 am

Hello everyone!
I am having a problem with my YouTube Channel Art banner image not displaying correctly on my Youtube channel. ](*,)

Anyhow, I've been to their help/instruction page and have resized it according to the Maximum and the Minimum sizes specified and it still doesn't display correctly.
I'm hoping someone knows something about the method or settings with PSE 10 that I apparently don't and youtube fails to mention on their page. :fg:

TIA
Matt

What size are you making your image?

YouTube wants an image between 2560x1440 and 2048x1152 pixels. I'd suggest always going with 2560x1440. You will see the complete image only when viewing on a TV. For everything else, the image will be cropped. The height of the cropped area will be 423 pixels centered on the image. The width of the cropped area will vary with the device you are using to view it. If you have text or something that you want to be always displayed, you must have it placed within an area 1546x423 pixels centered on the image. You'll have an opportunity to adjust the crop after uploading.

YouTube provides a template for Channel Art. Did you download and use the template?
