How to show only two photos in Editor Workspace?

Photoshop Elements 11.

I have several photos in the photo bin. I want to have only two of those open side by side in the Editor Workspace.
Version 9 had an "Arrange" icon with a dropdown box that allowed this to be done.

What I have been doing is Layout > All Floating and then minimize the ones I don't want showing in the Workspace.

There must be an easier way. If I have 20 photos in the Bin, it becomes tedious and time consuming.
Any suggestions?

The Layout button on the Action Bar along the bottom of Photo Elements 11 should offer you an option called All Columns. However, as you've found, if you have several photos open at the same time, you'll see all of the open photos displayed vertically across your workspace.

About the only workaround I can figure is to open all of your photos this way and then, one by one, drag each photo you DON'T want open out so that it becomes a floating window and then minimize it, eventually leaving open only the photos you want side by side.
