Question for RJ

Postby George Tyndall » Sat Nov 24, 2012 12:53 pm

RJ, I got an idea from your post:

http://muvipix.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=11471&p=98494#p98494

What I want to do is add PSE11 as an additional editor to be accessed from the PSE 7 Organizer.

I renamed
for RJ02.JPG
by adding a 2 and then placed it in the root folder for PSE7

for RJ03.JPG
(please scroll down with the scroll bar at the right to see it)

and I was successful in adding it as an additional Editor in the Organizer 7 Preferences

however, when I tried to actually use it to edit a photo, I got the following:

for RJ.JPG

:what:

Do you have any bright idea how to accomplish my goal?

George,

You don't place PhotoshopElementsEditor2.exe in the root of PSE7, you place it in the same root as PSE11. You'll have to fix your preferences in PSE7 as well.

Eureka! It's party time!

:dj5:

I now have a choice of 3 editors--PSE7, PSE11 and CS5.5 PS--that I can access from within my PSE7 Organizer!

BTW, here is a short clip made with PRE7 and its included Fly Away transition--my favorite--which you've said has been removed from later versions of PRE.

I uploaded with FLV Stereo, so it sounds best with headphones.
