PE6 won't recognize a couple of brushes

Hi- I'm having a strange problem with a PE6 - All my brushes show up and load with the exception of two. I assumed that something was corrupted or wrong with the ABR file on these 2, except that they show up and work fine in PE9. I tried closing PE6, deleting the files and re- copying them in- but that didn't help.
Additionally, there is a set of brushes in PE6 titled, "UNTITLED" that is not in my brushes folder- and I'm not sure where they came from!
When I try to load the 2 missing brushes directly from my editor, when I point to the brush folder, the only thing that shows up is the "untitled brushes" file- weird!
Any ideas?
