Closing Gaps?

Postby Gregg Kimball » Tue Oct 30, 2007 4:54 pm

I’m working on a slide show and somehow ended up with a gap in my slides when I was adding audio. I haven’t been able to delete the gap and I really don’t want to move each slide left one at a time. The slides are on Video track 1 and the audio is on track 2 using PE4.
See example at:

Lasso the slides that you want to move to the left so they are all selected. Then you can drag the whole lot to the left at one time.

Also, as you add clips, such as audio, to video or audio tracks parallel to other clips, hold down the Ctrl key as you do so.

This overrides the ripple function so that the other clips don't slide out of the way when you add new ones.

Thanks Steve, that will solve a lot of headaches.
