A place to introduce and tell a little about yourself.

My name is Donna and movie/picture editing is becoming a fast hobby. I work for a Mixed Martial Arts school and use premier to create highlight movie clips of our fighters once they go pro in order to market them to sponsors. So this is turning into a very practical hobby!
I'll probably have a LOT of very basic questions, so hope you guys can bear with me.

Welcome Donna, I grew up in Lafayette LA, until I went into the service, what part of Sportsman Paradise are you from. My wife is from New Iberia.

About 3 hours from there in Slidell. We have events in Lafayette on occasion and we have two guys in Kinder right now...so I'm nervous. I lived in Lafayette for a while when my ex-husband worked in New Iberia.

Thanks guys, photoshop and premier are turning into a great hobby for me. I'm thinking about exploring the idea of a side business of making DVD's for other fighters so they can market themselves to sponsors. How much would having something like that generally cost?

Are you talking about doing it all; filming, editing and producing the DVDs and cases?

No, they would supply me with whatever footage they have acquired from their career and then I would take that and make one dvd with scenes leading to each fight, a highlight scene and contact information. I would only give them the one master dvd and it would be up to them to make copies.

Should pay between $300 - $500 depending on how much time you spend on it and how much footage they give you.
